Last Friday there was an official “bring your child to work” -day in Finland. As we often do at Gapps, we did things a little differently. We arranged our own “Bring your parents to work” -day.
The idea stemmed from the notion that many of our parents don’t necessarily fully grasp the field Gapps is on, what kind of company their child is working for and what they actually do for a living.
It’s safe to say that the day was a huge success. There were over 40 enthusiastic parents at our office learning about Gapps, technology, modern work culture and most importantly, the work their children do.
Media dropped in our office as well and we ended up in the TV (in Finnish) at the end of Finnish prime-time news.
Feeling very grateful of the whole day.
